Here is what an ENDURO is all about. There will be a maximum of 100 cars that will begin the race at the same time. Pit stops are allowed but they will be made under the “GREEN” flag. You will not keep your position when you pit under the green flag. Will be 1 or 2 mandatory pit stops apx 10 minutes each

SMP 2026 FULL-SIZE ENDURO RULES                   

 Here is what an ENDURO is all about.  There will be a maximum of 100 cars that will begin the race at the same time. Pit stops are allowed but they will be made under the “GREEN” flag.  You will not keep your position when you pit under the green flag.There will be 1 mandatory pit stop (approx. 10 minutes)

MUST BE IN LINE FOR SAFETY INSPECTION 2 HOURS BEFORE RACE if your car has not been teched yet in 2026. AFTER THAT TIME, IF TIME PERMITS, WE WILL CHARGE A $20 FINE FOR INSPECTION.  THIS IS SAFETY INSPECTION ONLY.  MUST HAVE INSPECTION STICKER TO ENTER RACE.   TECH INSPECTION AFTER COMPLETION OF EVENT.  IF YOU SEE ANYTHING THAT IS UNSAFE AND IT IS NOT CORRECTED TO YOUR SATISFACTION, DO NOT RACE.

Scoring will be all done electronically using the My Laps scoring system with no need for hand scorers. Each car must have a transponder that is compatible to the My laps scoring system (cart racing don’t work, must be car racing type transponder) if you don’t own your own we will have rentals available at the track for $30. It is the driver’s responsibility to make sure you have a mount for the transponder. We will perform a transponder check approx 30 min prior to race time.  

IF YOU HAVE A CAR THAT HAS NOT RACED WITH US AND WANT TO SEE WHAT OUR SERIES IS ABOUT PLEASE BRING IT!!  WE WILL EXEMPT YOU FROM OUR CURRENT RULES EXCEPT SAFETY RULES!!  NO OPEN WHEEL CARS.     AFTER THE RACE WE WILL DISCUSS ANY CHANGES THAT YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE TO CHANGE TO CONTINUE RACING OUR SERIES 

RULES OF THE RACE:

  1. The first car to complete 200 laps or is leading at the end of 1 1/2 hours is the winner!
  2. The race will be started with two cars wide with the green usually given to the 1st car to line up or by a draw for position.
  3. The start will be a rolling start like all other races and cars must hold their positions until the green flag is dropped.
  4. Cars that are not running well are asked to move off the race track as far and as quickly as possible to avoid blocking the track and allowing the race to be as continuous as possible.
  5. Red flags will be used for safety concerns. 2 lap penalty for entering pits on Red Flag will be deducted after completion of the race.
  6. Cars may enter the pits during green flag racing but can only enter at pit entrance!!!
  7. The white flag will be given to a random car with one lap to go.
  8. Driver changes during the race will not be allowed, unless multiple entries are paid.
  9. MANDATORY PIT MEETING FOR ALL DRIVERS 1 HOUR BEFORE RACE TIME.
  10. We will be using the race receiver one-way communication device. This is mandatory! We will have rentals available if you don’t own your own for $20 please bring your own ear buds.
  11. Officials reserve the right to hold pay if there is question on finishing order

CAR AND BODY:

  1. ANY CAR 3,4,6 or 8 cyl car including CROWN VICS or MID SIZE PICK-UPS, or VAN.  WILL BE ALLOWED.  4×4 must be disabled
  2.  1 hoop in front of the radiator, frame mounted with 1 kickback on each side not to extend beyond spring tower is allowed. 
  3. Driver protection roll bars are required.  6 point, 1 1/2” tube minimum.  CAGE MUST BE FRAME TO FRAME AND ABOVE DRIVER’S HEAD, WITH HELMET ON.  Top of the roll cage should be no more than 1” below the roof line, at the center of the roof.  The cage may extend back to the rear bumper and may extend as far as the front frame horns. Two door bars required on both sides.   Roll cage must be a perimeter cage, front and back of the driver. Roll cage foam is mandatory to protect the driver’s head from injury in the event of a crash.
  4. The stock gas tank must be removed and replaced with a racing fuel cell or other approved steel thick walled gas tank, 25 gallon maximum, securely mounted with steel straps, rods or bars in the tank. Straps (at least two) should be at least 1/8” by 2” steel.  No plumbers strap, bungees, etc. Mount near the front of the trunk so to be protected from rear end collisions.  Mount on or above the trunk floor.  The tank must be sealed within the trunk.  No plastic tanks.  The fuel line running through the driver’s compartment must be Steele Braided.  No plastic fuel filters. Cars with an electric fuel pump must have a shut off switch located on the driver’s left side, clearly marked so track personnel can reach it. Trunk must be operable with no holes.  No external fill spouts allowed.  
  5. Anyone dumping glass, upholstery material, or car parts on the fairgrounds will be disqualified.
  6. BUMPERS MUST BE ANCHORED SECURELY BY WELDING, CHAINED, OR STRAPPING.  YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RACE WITHOUT A REAR BUMPER IN PLACE.  Do whatever you need to do to keep it from coming off.
  7. Bracing allowed to repair rusted or damaged frame as well as kickers on front and rear of car, see rule # 3 under Car and Body. X bracing allowed.
  8. All doors must be welded, chained, or bolted shut.   T Tops or Moon roofs need to be covered with metal of some sort.    
  9. All glass including mirrors must be removed from the car prior to arrival at the track. Heavy gauge rock screen with at least 3 supports needed to replace windshield for driver protection.
  10. All of the interior must be removed from the car prior to arrival at the track.  Door panels and dash may be left in.
  11. All floor pans and fire walls, both front and rear, must be in place and have any holes sealed off.
  12.  5 point harness is mandatory. Window nets, full face helmets, neck brace and racing seats are highly recommended.
  13. Fire suits are mandatory.  No exceptions.
  14. HOODS MUST BE KEPT IN PLACE AT ALL TIMES WITH NO MORE THAT 4 BOLTS HOLDING DOWN THE HOOD.  Minimal cutting for tire clearance allowed.

SUSPENSION:

  1. Any spring allowed as long as it is in stock location and same length. Spacers allowed in front only. Rears springs must be cable tied in to prevent loss.    Any non-adjustable non rebuildable shock is allowed as long as it is in the stock location. No coil overs allowed.
  2. Right side of the car must have 1” lug nuts.  May run oversize studs.  Steel race wheels are allowed.  NO OFFSET WHEELS. 3 0R 4 INCH BACK SPACING ONLY. No bead locks, Stem protectors are allowed.
  3. No bias weight allowed at any time.

TIRES:

1.   Any D.O.T. approved 14, 15, 16 inch tires allowed. No race tires.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Engine:

   Option #1      360 ci max. The engine must be stock and have stock unaltered cast iron 2 or 4 bbl intake.  No high rise intakes. Max 9.5 to 1 engine compression limit.  Cast iron heads and block only Stock 4bbl or 2bbl carb or stock Holley 4412 only. 

   Option #2      Stock unaltered 602 crate motor allowed with alum or cast intake and any 4bbl/2bbl.

   Option #3      Stock LS 5.3 (Chevy) 4.6 (Ford) Motors will be allowed fuel injected or any carb combo can be used

No Headers allowed with any engine option.

TRANSMISSION AND REAR END:

  1. Completely stock automatics with fully operational torque converter min of 12” diameter,
  2. Manual transmission is allowed but must be unaltered OEM 3 or 4 speed with a minimum 10.5” steel/organic single disc type clutch and steel pressure plate assembly with explosion proof steel bell housing 270 degrees around clutch and flywheel area. 16 lb steel flywheel min!        
  3. Any rear end is allowed including Ford 9” floater, non-floater, posi-traction or fully locked rear end is allowed.
  4. Transmission coolers are allowed but must remain in the engine compartment.
  5. 3:73 max gear for GM,open gear ratio for Ford and Chrysler cars.

MISCELLANEOUS:

  1. Battery may be secure under the hood or in the driver’s compartment in a marine box with a cover securely mounted.
  2. No unsportsmanlike display of temper in the infield or track at any time.
  3. If you’re leaking gas you will be Black Flagged and must leave the track immediately.
  4. Helmets and eye protection must be worn at all times during race conditions.
  5. No consumption of alcohol allowed in the infield area before the race is completed.
  6. Driver fire suit is mandatory! No exceptions.
  7. A fire extinguisher is required to be mounted securely within the driver’s reach.
  8. Anything not covered in the rules will be decided by officials.  Official decisions will be final.
  9. 1 Pit Person per car allowed on the race track to help the driver with inspection after the race is complete.
  10. Travel in the pits must be done in a safe manner.  Speeds in the pits will never exceed 10 mph.
  11. Homemade fan shrouds are allowed.

Car number is first come first serve. No duplicate car numbers allowed.

Pre-registering is the best option to assure you get the number you prefer.
